If he wasn't the offensive coordinator, I'm sure he would have already stare down the coordinator like he did to Ed Donatell in 2022.

Flores should be staring him down on the sideline. O'Connel has been awful with his scheme, roster evaluations, and reluctance to change things up to accomodate the talent he does have to work with. Today set a new precedent in pathetic offense for the season. We have some talent at the skill positions so how is it we are just completely incapable of generating any type of offense? It's been this way all season and I think has exposed KOC to an extent. Kyle Shannahan gets something going no matter who he has to work with. McVay gets something going no matter who he has to work with. O'Connel isn't in that same class despite what the media tells you to believe

No,  Brosmers passes this game were much better placed for the most part than we've seen from JJM,  the play calling and in game decisions  however looked like a coach doing what he could to make a kid look inept.

This sucked,  but our HC and the refs made it suck worse.  KOC needs to find an OC he trusts to call plays and focus on being a HC,  because he doesn't seem to understand what defenses are doing and seeing with his game plan.

I mean… maybe. MAYBE. But KO could’ve done every single thing right today and Brosmer still would’ve chucked a few picks. He was on a mission.

Eh, I think if KOC was doing something right, we would have seen it, either this game or previous games.  Like if Brosmer had 250 yards on well designed plays and squandered it all with TO's we'd be more ok with blaming purely the QB.

I think KOC just doesn't have an offense that can be run by a young guy that's trying to figure out NFL defenses.

Yes on the first one, absolute dip shit throw,  but two of those were receiver caused IIRC.   But even on the first one,  why not take the fucking points instead of that dumb ass play call,  looked like only 1 option on the roll out if the defense didnt bite,  which they didnt.

I want to know what went wrong on that play.  Why did the whole defense not care about the run at all?  Who's decision was it to not block the DE on that side?  It seems like blocking the most traditional pass rush threat on that side, would have been the most essential task on that play.

At least we don't have a QB controversy.

I disagree from a performance standpoint,  Brosmer threw more catchable passes than JJM,  he wasn't sailing the ball regularly and many of his shorter throws were on the money,  from a passing standpoint I think Brosmer looked better and if it weren't for a handful of bad drops and missed PI calls ( Jefferson drop to INT had the defender there early and pinned his arm IIRC)  he would clearly have had the better game as of late.

All that said,  Brosmer didnt show that he was ready to light it up either and would need the same excuses to stay with him over JJM so stick to the plan and keep working JJM if amd huge if here,  his mental status is ready,  if he isnt cocktail sure of himself then keep his ass on the bench,   no swagger no start,  he needs to really be itching to get back out there before I send him back out there.  Maybe a competition and then make it a game time decision.

Max doesn't have JJ's mobility, he'd be a lot easier to gameplan for. To say Max's performance was better than JJ's is something I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on, lol. 4 brutal INTs and the worst pick 6 I've seen in recent memory. For a guy that is supposed to be 'super smart', he sure as hell didn't play like it.
