Ponder is maybe the poster boy for KOC's "teams fail young QBs" statements. While he had AP, Percy was hurt/gone after they'd built rapport, and the o-line was establishing a horrible standard for the next decade.

dont you think in any given play there are multiple routes at various depths and its JJM that is deciding which is his target? I am sure KOC is saying watch for this or that if you get this matchup, but I dont think he is specifically saying throw deep no matter what. I think JJM has it in his head that he needs to be a hero or something to prove himself, and thus far its doing the opposite. at least on those home run balls he typically isnt getting his receivers killed, some of his shorter area passes that are "catchable" are ending up with the receivers getting blasted for their efforts.
