I was 100% wrong on this game. I was doom and gloom. Team football all the way around.

Outplayed and out coached the Lions on the road.  Our best game of the year easily and one we needed badly.

Great game and like I said earlier, finally saw the team we expected to see this year. Defense flipped a switch and the offense played complimentary football. KOC finally ran a more balanced attack by committing to the run more.

Looked like a completely different team then the unit that git smashed in LA ten days ago

They finally showed the potential we all expected before the season began. They are last place in the division, but they are .500 and realize they can beat anyone. Congrats to Sticky on this one. JJ appears to have what it takes and the defense appears to have the physical ability to hold up against elite offenses. Need to back this win up by beating the Ravens, but now they know they can.

In hindsight, I (and all of you) will have perfectly accurate 20/20 hindsight on this one.

This was won by the DL. They held Detroit to a total of 65 yards on the ground (vs our 142).
More importantly, this was the kind of full-pressure DL on the QB that I had envisioned from Week 1. It came together today.
Cashman and Van Ginkel back...H U G E.
This was won on turnovers.
One complaint...our second to last possession...I noted (as did Tom Brady...he and I went to different high schools together LOL), that they could have run more time off the clock in those last three plays. That would have not made the last series ending with a first down completion to Nailor such an "entertaining" one.
There will be some clock management discussions this week, I promise.

Great team win, JJM made plays when necessary. He extended plays. The OL held up, it was huge to have both O'Neill and Darrisaw. The defense was good. 5 sacks and got Goff out of rhythm. Harrison Smith still does the gritty work. Greenard, Hargrave, Allen, Redmond and Wilson showed up. Kudos to the offense with Jefferson, Addison, Jones, Hockenson and Mason. Well done. Special teams was good too. Balance of run and pass and responding when the Lions scored. They were able to move the chains and prevented the defense from getting gassed. Having Van Ginkel and Cashman back was huge. The blocked kick and Rodgers running was awesome. A lot of love to go around

Hey man, we all benefit as fans if JJ pans out. And he's going to pan out. If he stays healthy, there'll be more converts hopping on board than river baptisms at a church.

Brandel had some high and low snaps yesterday, wasn't loving that. Needs some more games at center under his belt.

I figured the Vikings would play a lot better in this one. It was nice to see JJ, the run game and the defense play like they're capable of playing.

My only complaint about this game was when the Vikings, up 17-14, get the ball back with 3:13 minutes left in the first half. Vikings set to get the ball after the half, too, so this is an opportunity for a time-consuming, 3-minute drive to keep the Lions offense off the field, and hopefully score before the half, earning back-to-back possessions. Instead, the Vikings have a series of blunders, ending with an interception on what was probably JJ's worst series. Kevin, run the damn ball.

Didn't. Fuggin'. Matter.

SKOL VIKINGS!!

It was (eventually) called a TD so it was reviewed.  Didnt' they take a TD away from the Vikings 5-6 years ago for PI call on Dalvin Cook for pass interference (illegal pick) after the fact that was pretty marginal.  This PI seemed pretty blatant.  The receiver clearly pushed off to get seperation.  How come the PI couldn't have been called after the fact?
