Although I agree, that team as a whole is a damn dumpster fire. That defense is so bad. They have 176 million reasons to be a dumpster fire.

Cincy was never going to win this game with a guy who doesn't even know where the locker room toilets are yet...but it was probably closer than it should have been for a good part of the game.

Lions lost...their wins have come against teams that are 6-17 total. Both of their losses have come against teams with winning records. The Packers have this weird 3-1-1 record which might come back to bite them at some point. Who can figure out the NFL?

I said to my son yesterday that I've never seen a year when so many NFL teams are just...BAD. Cowboys have the worst defense I've ever seen. Packers didn't look great in their win over the Bengals. Ravens are terrible. Eagles are struggling. I said the Lions might be the only team who could truly be considered "great"....only to watch them get beaten soundly by an average KC team.

This could be a year where we see teams like Indy and/or Seattle emerge down the stretch. Could be the Vikings too, if we can ever get healthy.

In what strange new universe would I be excited as a NFL fan to watch Danny Dimes go up against Uncle Sammy in a nationally televised playoff game? Apparently this one because they are both playing lights out.

As will JJ when he gets healthy, has a healthy offensive line in front of him and starts stacking reps together.

But as much as I hate to say it, until that happens, the decision to let both Darnold and Jones go, is going to look like a big story to the media. Also doesn't help that the three players we traded—Ingram, Blackmon and Phillips—are playing better than the players we brought in to replace them.

That is a surprise, but I don't think the Steelers are for real. They got handled by the Seahawks and have only beaten the Jets, Patriots, Browns and the Vikings with 4 offensive linemen out.
