Hell, students don't know what they want. But their parents seem to: they want their little babies to have the 'college experience'. A few of our younger friends here send their kids away to college for no reason other than they want them to experience a 'different part of the country'. Although every year they go on 2 vacations somewhere around the world since they've been 8 years old. Like for instance: one went to the University of Northern Colorado. Paying out of state tuition. Why? No reason whatsoever, other than its not south Florida and they can tell their friends she's 'away at college'. lol. Meanwhile there are certainly as good or better options within 150 miles of here. And cheaper. And they LOVE to take their babies on the 'school tours' around the country....and then sign on to Florida Atlantic University.
