Sticky, This The Guy You Tried To Dog All Offseason?

Either knock it off, all of you, or I will kick you. Justin, making a thread to call another member out is bad form. But you know that. Everyone else, sometimes it is best to ignore and let the silliness fall off the page.

My push pre draft was to take either a lineman on either side of the ball to turn a weakness into a strength and complete the overhaul, or you take a weapon on offense because you could make a case for one and they affect games more than a safety would (for example). That played out in having to scramble before the season started where we eventually HAD TO trade for Thielen.

It’s just a lack of context. The top 4 rushing leaders in the NFL right now are Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Travis Etienne and Derrick Henry.

Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Taylor averaged 42 rushing yards per game.
Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Cook averaged 18 rushing yards per game.
Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Henry averaged 24 yards per game.
Travis Etienne finally had the game slow down for him half-way through his rookie season, but was averaging 36 yards per game through 4 weeks.

We’ve seen 3 weeks...

And we are going to see a few of these guys getting increased playing time starting this week;

- Jeanty's usage (or lack there of) is being skewered by the media and I would guess his touches increase this week at home against a buttery soft Bears defense

- Hampton is now "the man" for the Chargers with Najee Harris out for the year

- Treyveon Henderson will supposedly be the starter for the Patriots after the fumbling problems with the other backs on the roster

- Judkins is already hammering down after only being on the roster for two weeks.

Much to be determined still...
