A team led by Kevin O'Connell, a former QB pass-happy playcalling merchant, is running the football at a Top 5 clip per playcalling percentage.

I repeat: A team led by Kevin O'Connell, a former QB pass-happy playcalling merchant, is running the football at a Top 5 clip per playcalling percentage.

He's a smart coach. I think Aaron Jones was getting the run he did early on primarily for locker room reasons. And that's fine. I hope he gets well soon and contributes big for us.

But Jordan Mason looks great back there and has since the day he got to camp. He's the offensive MVP of the team so far and a two-pronged attack of hard running and speedy route tech WRs is a sensible approach for the Vikes right now, especially with Wentz at the helm.

Mason reminds me of Montgomery - probably a tad slower in the 40.

But yah, I think most of us thought he'd be #1 guy b4 too long.

I hope the positive trend for rushing continues, especially for when JJM returns. I think its easy to pad stats vs a mediocre Bungles D. So warrants watching as the season progresses.

I recall someone bringing this up in the offseason. That we would start running the ball more. Man, that mfer was ASTUTE.

It will be interesting to see how the run game continues with Jones out. I thought last week with not having to rotate backs that it really benefitted Mason who seems to get better the more he is in the game. Scott looks like a pretty dynamic back and expect to see him get more carries.

I can't believe we got Mason for a 5th, possibly Kwesi's best move along with signing Van Ginkel and Greenard.

lol, or the Jeanty guy!  Big Grin Or (insert failure to launch 2025 Drafted RB here)

Vikings have 2 RBs they really like and its worked out great. One got injured, gasp! Welcome to the club around the NFL. I think its hilarious some fans thought KOC was run-averse. Its not like he had an epiphany, lol. Just has the horses now. Hell we had the biggest FB in the NFL playing center. Wink Hopefully it can be maintained, early returns yet.

Well, if we’re going to pass judgment after 3 games, shall I start with JJ McCarthy?

You can do whatever you'd like, but with that arm in a sling from congratulating yourself constantly over what I'm always not sure what about, do we need the laundry list of shit you've been wrong about? Wink Oh wait, you do fantasy football and watch videos online, you're smart!
