Darrisaw would be huge - Bigger than Dirty Harry.

I'll get greedy: Maybe Addison/Kelly back in Europe for 1/2 a mos????

Darrisaw was asked after Friday’s practice if he felt ready to play yet.

“If I was ready, I’d be out there playing,” Darrisaw said. “We’ll see how I feel tomorrow and when Sunday comes.”

O’Connell has referenced Darrisaw’s comfort level as the team awaits his return. Darrisaw said he’s been adjusting to a bulky brace he’s worn throughout practices. He said he’ll keep the brace on whenever he returns to play.

“I’m comfortable,” Darrisaw said. “With the brace, it’s different. I haven’t worn that since college. I kind of got used to just being free. ... My knee’s just like reconditioning back to how I play. My stance is unique. Just really trying to get comfortable in that. Getting in and out of it really plays a big part.”

Darrisaw clarified he gets “really low to the ground and not everybody has that type of stance.”

He is a powerful guy, with much of that power coming from his base.  I get not feeling comfortable in a brace when he uses his lower body so much.

Hopefully he gets there soon.

Dirty Harry back would be very good.
Harry plus Darrisaw would be very excellent.
Can't force it though...these guys are pros and the medical opinions know if/when they are ready.
I defer to the specialists.

I have given up on Darrisaw, don't see him playing this week or in the near future with those quotes. After an entire training camp and going into the 3rd game of the season, if you are still that unsure of your timeframe then let's just put the guy on IR and stop wasting a roster spot. Rather role with Rouse and stop wondering every week.

I am most concerned with Van Ginkel playing as the defense is going to need to win this game and he is our most dynamic defensive player.

Christian, Gink, Harry, are 3 of our top 7 seven players , Cash, Addison, Jones, JJ are top 15. Injuries happen and ( and BS in the case of Addison) have really hurt but we gotta step up. Hopefully the trend toward full health happens and we see what our full squad can do by the time we get Philly and the make or break in our schedule

#Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw (knee) and S Harrison Smith (illness) -- both of whom have yet to play this season -- are expected to make their debuts on Sunday, sources say.

Both are slated to start, but will likely rotate on and off.
