How we all feeling the morning of Game 2?
#1
For me, excited as always but concerned that the Atlanta offense is going to score some passing TDs. Not sure JJ is there yet as far as being able to go toe-to-toe in a NFL shootout. Going to be a lot of emotion and excitement from the home crowd in this environment. KOC should lean into the run game to start the game off and work from there. Would be great if Harrison Smith could start, but I have no idea if he's ready yet. Hate that Darrisaw is sitting again, f-ck. Expect the Falcon D to load that side again, hope the offensive gameplan is prepared more for it early. Hopefully a fun ride, looking forward to it.

Have to stay up again past my bedtime tonight.  Dodgy

Just be glad we're not playing in game 2 of the double header tomrrow night. That game doesn't even start until 10 pm your time. REALLY wish the NFL would stop doing that shit. It's the worst idea in the history of bad ideas.

With their starting RT out and Matthews feeling his age on the other side, we should be able to get some pressure on the edges. I think this should be a run and play defense game for the Vikings. Falcons corner AJ Terrell is probably the best young corner in the game after Sauce. He'll probably draw Jefferson. The other guy? Our 2018 1st round pick, so Thielen and Nailor might have good games.

Addison, Gink, Okudah, Darrisaw and Harry all out - thats a lot of firepower.

ATL has their full contingent of WR's back this week.

Bijan is a beast - going to test Turner on the edge.

I hope this is a hella game from our #15 and JJM plays well enough to encourage the fanbase some more.

Concerned with Van Ginkel who I think is our MVP of the defense and our best OL out and our secondary. I still can't believe this is the secondary we came up with after a full off season. Will be interesting if Turner can show that he is potentially worth all those draft picks, I think Richter or Murphy will be the one to step up. We are going to need to be able to run the ball and keep their offense off the field, JJ needs to be JJ of the 4th quarter all game and we need Thielen and Hockenson to get much more involved. I think we have enough to beat them in what could be a close, crazy game.

REALLY.
F***ING.
IMPATIENT.

I have the same concerns over our injuries, Addison still being out, our secondary in general, and so on...but, it wasn't just JJM that needed to get in rhythm with the game last week; the whole team showed offseason rust and a slow awakening into who they are in general.

I think they've woken up a good bit. Hopefully, JJM's "village" is making sure that he's getting rest and a balance in time between the family, practice, and his meditaion/study times.

In KOC I trust.
It's officially SKOL SEASON!! LET THE PLUNDERING BEGIN!!

I feel like a good run game should ease my pain. It is said that Skule can be a good run blocker. Hopefully this will be a coming out party for Turner and the defense can hold their own. If so, the earth shouldn't spin off its axis and I should feel even better late tonight when I go to bed.

I loved Penix in college, had him JJM, and Nix as my top 3 choices and wouldnt have been upset with any of them at 11. with that said, Penix isnt Williams, he can hurt you with his legs, but he isnt as likely to make the houdini type plays. He will be more accurate with his passes so IMO the key is to get pressure and hits on him early, move him off his spots and try to get him setting up on the run, he can do it, but its not where he is typically the most deadly. If he get time and comfort in the pocket... there isnt a throw he cant make.

I am looking forward to seeing JJM make another step towards cementing himself in the talk thats been buzzing this week, I pray the kid can keep grounded and focused.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
