We have all been waiting for this game since the moment we heard Goodell say JJ McCarthy, so it seems a little surreal it is going to happen in a few hours.  I definitely feel an extra level of nerves for the game.  I think we all know we can't put too much into one road game, but definitely want to see the signs of potential, that he is the guy many of us think he is.  Also just from a personal standpoint, he is such a good kid, you want to see him succeed.

A little patience will be needed as hope of what could be turns into the reality of what is. He is learning so he will have his ups and downs, they all do. I mostly want to see some poise when faced with adversity. He has the tools and backing to be a success; even if it isn't instant success. I have faith that he will develop into the one by seasons end and hopefully before.

Patience? Why? There is no patience here for any other young QBS around the league. Don't expect any special treatment for JJ if he struggles.

KOC needs to get him some reads for real yards, this is giving me PTSD from the years of bubble screens and countless short-of-the-sticks pass plays.

KOC needs to keep running Mason up the middle, not to the edge

looks like Jets needed some practice time with JJ and his fast ball

special teams looks anything but

Stops are good things, but our offense needs to do something with the possessions....

...but, pick 6s from the Bears are not what we need.

The east-west running is driving me crazy.

Signs of life from the offense, the defense, and Chicago is stalled...we may be the "other" comeback story of week 1...!
