Do the Vikings need a song?
#1
Never really thought of Mr. Brightside as much of a stadium sing along song, but it works. Enter Sandman at VT is pretty epic too.

I hate Mr. Brightside, Michigan does it. Its not a song that gets you hyped, its more of a sing-along. I loved Welcome to the Jungle. Enter Sandman at VT will give you goosebumps. And MLFootball is another of those garbage Twitter accounts that I've blocked.

I think the Skol Chant and horn blowing is fantastic, that's enough IMO. The Vikings already have a song:

Agree, everyone loves the Skol chant. So we don't need a song. I was kidding about that. But I think this stadium and arena sing-along thing is becoming more and more popular. And the weird thing about it is that the songs themselves are not your typical get-fired-up stuff. They're just pop songs. Mr. Brightside? Who'da thunk Blink 182's All the Small Things would take over the Stanley Cup playoffs a few years ago. You got blue-haired grandmas who likely have no clue what the hell a Blink 182 is, singing it at the top of their lungs.

VT is tops in my book...

I will say this - if I have to hear the Immigrant Song one more time? Burned out on that 20 years ago.
Skol Vikings is kitchie and provincial, I luv it.

Speaking of Mr Brightside, you gotta put Sweet Caroline up there too.

sweet caroline and donnt stop believein... please no more,  both were ok tunes in their own right,  but when every damn stadium and arena out there started playing them... its just to much!

I like when obscure bands with a catchy rif or whatever get adopted,  think Drop Kick Murphys in the dome,  when they hit the intro to Shipping up to Boston,  that was as electric as the first time I heard Welcome to the Jungle played in the dome 30 years ago or so.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Didn't the Vikings try 'Let's Go Crazy' by Prince after touchdowns not that long ago? Didn't like that either.
