Hold up, maybe no Darrisaw Monday...

He'll play, but he may be on a pitch count.

I was thinking the same.  After we roll over them for 250 yards rushing, he will give way to Skule.

If I were the Vikings? I would keep the fans and Bears guessing till game-time.

I think there's a lot of that going on.

If he's not 100% and with Soldier Field's turf being brand new and easy to slip on. I'd rest him. We want him long term. We can pound the bears without him.

The Saw was a FULL participant in the walkthrough practice today. Huge. This kid is going to start Game 1 of the season after getting major ACL surgery in November. NOVEMBER. 9.5 months later he's starting. Couldn't be better news for JJM.

Its not official....but its official. No way they start him if they don't feel he's 100%. A big wow. This brand new kick ass O-line is all healthy and starting together as a unit. Wait until you see them like Week 6, they'll know each other so much better.

That would be good news - if they are REALLY 100% sold.  That turf there always is a worry. POS is what it is.

I like what some other poster mused - pitch count.

JMO, you don't pitch count an offensive lineman. He's either good to go or he isn't. He's the LT, JJ's blind side. If he starts, its because he's rocking it. And he'll play the whole game barring a Viking blowout. Again, IMO.

Vikings safety Harrison Smith is progressing toward a full return to action.

Smith has missed practice time recently because of a personal health issue, but he took part in the team’s walkthrough on Wednesday. He took another step forward on Friday when he took part in practice on a limited basis.

Left tackle Christian Darrisaw also took a step in the right direction. Darrisaw is dealing with a knee injury and moved from limited to full practice participation.

Running back Zavier Scott (ankle) and defensive back Elijah Williams (hamstring) remained out of practice. Wide receiver Jalen Nailor (hand) and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (neck) were listed as full participants for the second straight day.

The Vikings will practice again on Saturday before issuing injury designations for Monday night’s game against the Bears.

I would disagree.  The wednesday workload was to test stamina IMO.  If he can rock it for a half, wouldn't he start?

Dunno, I guess we shall see.
