Joint practices with the Patriots today and tomorrow

Still about 30 minutes left in practice. JJM accuracy on point, playing 11s on 11s and Redzone. 60 yard bomb to Aaron Jones, perfect toss. JJ is dealing and Diana Russini is front and center watching it all, lol, she's visiting camp. Curious to see what she reports here soon.

She'll probably find something negative to report...

Pats fans questioning their defense, the QB they drafted over McCarthy, and their manhood today after watching practice. One added "this is without Jefferson too."

LOL

He might have more of a cannon than I thought too...

Time will tell

Love JJ's wheels here. And the decision. The pocket wasn't bad, but he saw 30 yards of open field and took it. Good, decisive decision on his part.

You got an amazing DL and great set of Linebackers. You have a healthy OL - the rookie guard is looking strong and nimble. The running back duo will likely be a strong improvement, Addison already looks like he has a strong connection with McCarthy. My guess is JJ will look the same as always. The defensive backfield and how quickly does JJ improve this year/stay healthy are the only real question marks. My guess is the win total prognostications start going up.

Both Nailor and Metellus injured. Hand and shoulder respectively. Neither appear too serious.

They got 3 weeks to heal-up b4 the opener...

These scrimmages are so much more interesting/insightful vs a pre-season game.

The Patriots’ final joint practice of the summer is over and it was a butt kicking.

Minnesota was better in just about every drill. The Pats hit a Hail Mary, but few highlights outside that.

Defense got carved and offense was left to dink and dunk amid lots of pressure.

J.J. McCarthy on this Donovan Jackson play:

"I absolutely love it. Us Michigan guys, we get a little skeptical of the mentality and the tough guy-ness of Ohio State, but he absolutely proved it. It was a sight to see, and I just love how fired up he got after that, too. He's gonna be a great player."
