Super pumped to see JJ McCarthy lead this team.  You and I were his fanboys leading up to the draft, confident he's going to fulfill everything we've said about him.

THIS... 100% THIS ^^^^^^

I am so excited to see what he can do with this team,  but at the same time I am reminding myself that he is essentially a very young, very raw rookie,  coming back from a year off with a repaired knee, ( knowing how common it is to then have a set back in the other knee (( yes I am knocking on wood)))

I see so many reasons to be optimistic and hopeful, but the Vikings fan in me is just having a hard time allowing me to get swept up.

Youngest QB in the league. I understand the reserve with JJ. I just don't see him failing. I see him doing everything he can to get better ever game, every series, every snap. I believe he is just built that way.

We got a good one, Boys

I dont think he will fail either,  I just am tempering my expectations for year 1 as a starter.  I think him getting to where he is isnt luck,  he seems like he works and studies hard and should be our guy for a long time.

I don't want to say it outloud. His mentality and how he goes about his business and the team around him... We get by the Eagles and not sure who is stopping us. Just my opinion. I think this year is going to be a hell of a good time.

Always ready for the season - Always optimistic we will make the playoffs - then always emotionally crushed.

Vikings may not be running out of years, but I am.
