Entertaining AF IMO. Really, how long can it be before the NFL goes down this road?

A very, very VERY long time from now....if ever. And I'll vote against it ever happening at a significant level outside of people having fun with it and goofing around. My son has touched AI for several years now in his job and he said its still unbelievably underwhelming and anything of any significance is far off. Robotics will only go as far as the software will take it. Saying this has the capacity of a 5 or 6 year old is a joke honestly. But its fun and lay people get excited about the hype....as they have for the last 20 years about AI and all we have is ChatGTP and the weird and goofy shit we see online with AI videos.

The NFL monetizes families.....takes very poor people and sets their families up for generations. Its a way out. Human interest is a big part of why people love college and pro football. Don't mean to piss in your cornflakes as the technology is cool, but its got a LONG way to go and they'll need several huge technological leaps to get anywhere close to the AI evangelists proclamations.

I was joking. Did you watch the video? Looked like one of them was trying to do the griddy when he fell down went boom.

LMAO at the one that did the face plant. Usually takes a fair amount of whisky for a human to master that maneuver!

my favorite part was when the human just shoved the one robot onto its face.... other than that, can they mow my lawn?
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

The AI must be really advanced because those robots constantly flop and hit the deck just like real soccer players.

That was my thought as well.  Wow, they really mimicked the flopping well.

now that they've mastered flopping, I am guessing the NBA is the next most logical pro robo sport?
