Top Ten QBs In Franchise History
#1

Fran is #1 by a considerable margin. No Joe Kapp is quite dubious. Otherwise, not bad.

I agree no Kapp is a miss

We've had our fair share of 1 year wonders (including George)

Kapp was amazing. 40 for 60.

Fran doesn’t get the adoration he deserves. Think about what he accomplished, when he accomplished it, for as long as he accomplished it.

Joe Kapp was my absolute favorite Vikings hero when I was a kid. His "wounded duck" completions, he wasn't pretty, but he had that competitive fire that no other Vikings QB before or since. I was so devastated when he got into a contract scuffle after that '69 season...the magic was gone.

He truly understood and embodies the term “team”.

But, IMO,  clutch play, poise, and accuracy rank higher than numbers.
