Someone answer a simple question, why did it take this long to put this much priority and resource on it?

that is the question that has been rolling around for a long damn time.  it was said at the time that KC came over from DC that he would need a much improved OL, specifically IOL and nothing was done.  It was said long before that we needed to address the IOL.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Being serious, the money at QB stopped us from doing a lot of things that needed done.  Last year was still a learning year for KOC.   We can win a lot of games with known flaws, but we don't go very far when it matters with what we've done in the past.  I'm more hopeful going into this season than I've been in forever and fully expect to win 3 less games in the regular season.  lol

I'm sure KC $ had a role, its a good call-out.

But it was also a matter of asset prioritization.

C/OG were not deemed as impactful or as high a priority as DE for example (until 2025)..
