Looks like Pittsburgh is going to install the Triple Option this season.

Tanking for a QB.

You're probably not far off. I'm no Kaleb Johnson fan, but with no real QB, I think the Steelers will ride him all year.

We are a year away - much can change - but in what has the chance to be a very strong QB class, the Browns and Rams have two first-rounders and the Steelers are at a pick-surplus too.

All three could be looking for their long-term QB next April.

They got Metcalf, so swapping out Metcalf for Pickens, is definitely an upgrade. Freiermuth is reliable, and Calvin Austin is ok. You still need a QB to throw to them. Unless Howard really flashes as a solid game manager and they can rely on a solid run game with Kaleb Johnson, I really think this year will be a struggle for them. They have continued to kick the can on getting a QB and its cost them.

Right under that article is one letting us know that Shedeur Sanders will wear #12.

Wow. You'd think this 5th round guy was the most important player ever drafted the way he gets covered by the media. ESPN actually devoted column inches to telling people what number he's going to wear. I need that and a cup of coffee in the morning to face the day with confidence.

Truly don't mean this in a snarky way. But here you are talking about that 5th round guy which is exactly what they want. If the guy wasn't a popular topic that drove engagement they wouldn't be talking about him. So I guess mission accomplished on their end.

Wow.

Cowboys gave up a 3rd Round this year & a 5th Round pick next year for George Pickens.

You still have to pay him next year or tag him….seems too rich for me.
