I've said for a long time there shouldn't be private contributions to candidates. Use public funding. Give both sides the same amount of money and let the best candidate win.

The sub thing is fake news.  The US doesn't make the smaller diesel sub class that Canada is looking for to replace their 40 year old fleet of 4 subs which were purchased second hand from the Brits. They sent an RFP to Korea, Japan, Sweden  Germany, France, Spain in November after announcing it in September of last year (before Trump was elected).  So..spare the faux outrage.  It's more nonsense from the leftist media to make something out of nothing and get the liberals all wound up. It worked for you..  Korea responded to their RFP.  I expect the others will as well.  Shouldn't they? They also didn't send an RFP out to the UK. Aren't they still part of the Commonwealth?
