Lion's President: Packers suck and so does the town of Green Bay
#1
2 really good seasons, both ending in choke jobs, and now the Lions President's got jokes? I thought maybe.....maybe....I might root a little for a franchise that has been perennial losers forever, but they went from shit to a lot of arrogance starting with the Meathead. Like Detroit is the Palm Springs of the Midwest. (story below)

"The Lions finished 15-2 last season, earning their second consecutive NFC North title, the first time they've won back-to-back division titles since 1952-1953."

3 playoff wins since 1957. The definition of a poverty franchise.

Can you imagine Mark Wilf saying something like this? He wouldn't.

I'm with Sticky, thought I might have a little streak down deep to root for em some, but nah...I may root for them to beat GB, but thats about it.

The question is did they miss their best chance last year? Its REALLY HARD to repeat a season like that.

Football gods smited them down at years end - they are fickle as hell.

Pretty rapid transition from loveable losers to arrogant aholes. I never forget their head coach was spawned out of the bounty gate debacle. One of his DB's goes for the knees every time. Biting kneecaps my ass. Used to feel sorry for their fans. Not so much any more.
