side note, I was listening to NFLN on XM today and they were praising the iggles for not fucking around with their own free agents, they identify who they want to keep and do their extensions after year 3, or try and move the ones they dont want sooner than later while they can still maybe get better return.... not a bad approach, how many players take until after year 3 before you say you cant imagine the team without them?

These teams that have a guy like Jones, who looked pretty mediocre his whole career. What were they doing resigning him and punting on drafting a replacement when they clearly had the chance.
I have said it for years on here, better to move on to soon than to over pay and find out you were wrong... IMO, yes, even on QBs. hell how many of this franchises best seasons came with FA QBs at the helm, vs QBs that we drafted?
