Just rented on Prime yesterday. Excellent film. I’ve never been a huge Bob Dylan fan but Timothy did an excellent job covering him.

My wife has been a Dylan fan forever and loved the movie too...
Plus she gets to see Timothy too, so win/win for her.
We just finished S3 of White Lotus - one of my faves.

I can take or leave Dylan, but one thing's for certain, he's a helluva songwriter. We saw this in the theaters on opening day. Everyone loved it. Timothee Chalamet was great, but the guy who played Johnny Cash steals every scene he's in. Funny that Cash and Dylan were such good friends.

Watched it and enjoyed it but maybe not enough to keep me from falling asleep midway.
We have been binge-watching Ransom Canyon on Netflix. Billed as Netflix's answer to Yellowstone, it's not that good, but it is very good. I like Josh Duhamel's down-to-earth character and James Brolin's crustiness...but I really like Minka Kelly.

Cash was too...Older I get, the more I appreciate his music.
I was never a big Dylan fan (heresy for a MN) but I agree about his song-writing. Almost as prolific as The Beatles.
Beatles were my song-writing gods, Zeppelin my Rock gods.

Beatles sit alone on the song writing throne. At least in terms of music. Lyrically, Dylan is up there with the likes of Elvis Costello and Tom Waits.

Yep, The Beatles stand alone. I am a fan of some of Dylan's work (Don't Think Twice, Blowin' in the Wind, It Ain't Me Babe, My Back Pages, If Not For You, Knockin' On Heaven's Door etc.) but it can best be appreciated when performed by others in my opinion...
