I agree. But some people feel that firing someone by a phone call or text is a cowards way out. Some think doing it face to face is the way a man should do it. Shitty to make him fly to NY to get fired, but they could have dragged it out longer, which would have been worse.

Man, he just lets it all hang out here lol. Lit Glenn up big time. This is classic bridge burning with zero fucks given. Feel how you might about Rodgers, I don't doubt this is exactly how the interaction went. Hard to say this wasn't a dick move by Glenn.

Are you assuming that I would be in the back of the room during the team meeting, undermining what you're saying?' I said, 'You don't know me.' And he said, 'You don't know me.' And then I said, 'Exactly. Which is why I flew across the country to have a face-to-face meeting with you, to talk about my experience with the Jets and to hear your vision for the team.' ... What I thought was gonna be a couple-hour meeting turned into like a 15-minute meeting, and I walked out of there ... I don't want any part of that. It was already a debacle."

The Jets are one messed up org. Woody Johnson is an epic megalomaniac.
