JJM on the UpandAdams Show Today
#21
What have I been saying for over a year? I told you this kid impacts people he meets, he's got an 'it' factor unlike others. This dude wins EVERYONE over. Everyone:

Dan Orlovsky

Down at the  @NFLPA Classic at Mayakoba

I cannot express how impressive JJ McCarthy is and how he carries himself, interacts with the fellas.

@Vikings will be just fine.

It'll be interesting to watch it unfold here over the seasons...I'd say after being absent as an active, he's pretty close to square 1 again with the locker room as far as being a "leader" on the team. Not meant as a negative, just the probable reality.

Not too far off from OTA's.

Leading happens off the field as much as on. JJM spends time with other players off the field. Its about relationships. And work ethic.

I think it will be a big boost for JJ this year.  The coast is pretty clear on QB1 unless something really strange happens.  The players don't have to divide their time and attention to multiple potential starting QBs.  Plus...he's very well spoken for his age and his optimism is infectious.

I was so ready to be off the Kirk carousel that any exit was going to look great to me. But since you were hyping him up pre-draft and ever since, JJM has fit the bill. The injury sucked and the weight loss thing was odd but man that first preseason game (after the int ha) was so fun. I believe!

I know that I've been banging the drum for JJM for a LONG time as Wet (MADGAINZ) has also, probably ad nauseam to some, lol. Much yet to be proved, I've always said as much along the way of propping this kid up. But this guy is different and he's got the skills. He's a genuine natural leader. No doubt there'll be a bump or two along the way his first year starting.....has to be. Happens to them all. But if anyone can truly break this long standing curse of the Vikings, its JJ McCarthy. JMO but I can honestly say I believe it. And that isn't like me. Take that for what its worth, lol....that and $5 will get you a Starbucks coffee. Wink

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is the fact that Minnesota is the team JJM wanted to be drafted by.  As for me, I'd give a 110% to any team I'd play for but to be on a team I'd die to play for, I'd give a 150% to my home team.  That is JJM in a nutshell.

Sounds like a whiny little bitch who contributes nothing.
