just want to point out a few things
Sam Darnold was said to be the same thing last year, Vikings had a plan and they hit that out of the park.
Brian Flores has been getting top 5 - 10 defensive play from a roster with some big holes yet as a group they have excelled.
Flo brought in a street FA last year mid season and got a sack, some QB hits and some tackles in 2 games. Jamin Davis
Flo brought up a USFL guy Jalen Redmond who "didn't move the needle" for many on the message boards, thought to be "Training camp fodder" when he was signed, and yet was outplaying vets and starting games late in the year.
Flores see things in p;layers and maximizes their abilities, when others only see faults.
People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Last year he played just six games because of a hip injury.
Maybe the Wilfs get a tax break hiring the handicapped.
I’m guessing these is barely more than vet minimum.

Damn, that injury sheet makes Andrew Booth look like an Ironman.

Should we start a pool on what the season-ending injury will be?

Been trying to think of DBs who were considered busts but revived their careers down the road. I'm sure there are a few but the only one who comes to mind right now is Jordan Poyer. Can't really be considered a bust since he was a 7th rounder, but he's an interesting story.
JustinTime might remember this guy. I think we were both high on him as a mid-round safety in the 2013 draft. But for whatever reason he fell to the 7th round, I think because he was undersized. He was taken by the Eagles, then released in the fall. He bounced around as roster depth for several seasons, before finally becoming a starter in his 5th season, even making 1st team All Pro a couple years later.
I'm not expecting Okudah to revive his career, but considering a lot of his struggles can be blamed on injury, he's got a shot if he stays healthy. And there's no doubt that a Brian Flores scheme can have an impact on some players.

From a base talent and athlete perspective, he's worth a try for a B-Flo miracle.

Vaguely remember being in on Poyer. Honestly in the last few years there have been a bunch of S I really liked who went later than projected. Reed Blankenship is the most recent.
Okudah has had so many major injuries plus he was drafted a good 15 spots too high if memory serves. We’ll see if BFlo and Jones can catch lightning in a bottle. I’m curious what Samuel is looking for.

He wasn't a reach. Consensus pretty consistently had Okudah going in the top five. I remember because we needed a corner that year, and I hated the idea that the Lions were going to get the best corner in the draft (we took Gladney later). That was also the year no one believed in AJ Terrell because of a bad national championship against LSU. Who was he going against? Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson. My argument was that Darrelle Revis would look bad against those guys. FSUVike thought I was nuts.
Actually, I just looked up three mock drafts from that year, one from early Feb and two more from April, and Okudah went top 5 in all three. I don't remember where I put my keys, but I remember drafts.
