Some fans doubted a 'competitive rebuild' could or should happen. Question answered. Not sure how they could have done it any better.

This is what makes the NFL great -- even with a really good team, you have over 50% roster turnover (in this case way more than 50%) in three years. It is why ownership and scouting and GM are so important -- even if you have a bag of dog doo for a roster, a couple good drafts, smart free agent moves, smart contract structuring and boom, it can turn around in a hurry.

For sure, but most likely > 50% of the franchises dont have the luck and skill to pull it off...I'm talking franchises mired in the middle or perpetual losers (i.e. Brownies, Jags)
