Vikings trade for Jordan Mason

Welp, there goes RB in the draft. 2026 6th rounder, pick swap, and 7 million guaranteed on a 2 yr deal

Jordan Mason is a good young RB. Much better than Cam Akers and a guy who can carry the load if Jones gets dinged.

I think this takes us out of a RB on Day 2, but I think we still take advantage of a deep class on Day 3 (assuming we trade down for more picks at some point).

With the OL and now RB gains in free agency, we should be able to get kinda crazy on CBs and similar in the draft.

Still looking for that backup QB, though. A-a-ron is not acceptable.
Build on 14-3, take back the NFCN, break the ****ing curse. Simple.

I think that’s a good pick up. He has shown he can catch, break tackles and run hard between the tackles.
Reduces the urgency for a RB. Having Jones, Mason, a potential late round RB and Ham looks like a very good RB room to me

Watched a few highlights. 49ers seem to mix in zone, man, gap, and duo. I remember thinking the 49ers lose McCaffery and gain this monster.

5-11 223. Quick. Enough speed. I can understand the disappointment about probably not tapping into this class early but I think there’s still guys Day 3 that are quite capable.

Young and ascending. I like it.

W trade! Ed Ingram out, Jordan Mason in.

Between he and Jones, that’s decent. Especially if the OL is improved. If our QB can keep defenses honest, we will be in business.

We just need to hold on to some draft picks for when we trade for Akers this season.

We are definitely all in this season. Not winning the NFC will be a failure.
