Kupp: Where do you stand?
#21
He isn't needed. The Vikings could spend the money elsewhere.

Not sure how important it is for him to stay on W. Coast?

I dont think the Vikings are going to be players at $13mm+++

$13M seems a lot for a guy who's averaging 6 missed games a year the last three years. Thielen is getting $8M. Love to have Kupp, but I think there are teams who can make him WR2. He won't be that in Minnesota.

Other teams will pay him more than we should pay him, but I would pay him $7.5M a year for a couple years ... although if we sign Rodgers ...

Agreed. Guy was the #1 receiver on the Rams two years ago and has been paid big coin.

Guys in that position usually won't go be #3 somewhere for cheap. Players tend to be slow to accept their own decline. And agents know there are teams that need receivers that will bank on some rehab fortune and pay a middling type deal for aging players who can still produce from time to time.

I don't see the Vikings in play unless Kupp loves KOC so much (take that however you like Wink ) that he comes here on the cheap to mostly be a decoy/blocker. Highly unlikely.

With questions around Addison's potential suspension, and KOC's familiarity with Kupp already a big positive...I'd be in for a good value deal. I'm hesitant to do a full "ALL IN ON '25" approach with our assumed starting QB still awaiting his first real start...but, I'd be very interested in creating a deep, impressive crew this year that's only more dangerous with more time together next year....
Build on 14-3, take back the NFCN, break the ****ing curse. Simple.

If Kupp is willing to take less to play for a team like Minnesota, sure. If he's going to the highest bidder, absolutely not. For WR3? Why would Minnesota do that? There's only one football and Nailor has been more than fine at WR3.
