The situation was tee'd up perfectly to make the right decisions.

They did not have big bucks tied up in a Cousins/Darnold @Seattle type contract.
They have their red-shirt rookie QBOTF recuperating nicely.
They have freed up major cap space to give them ammo (with flexibility for Brez to restructure some contracts to open more room if necessary)

The only thing missing was to execute on the plan.
And they did.
I'm giddy.

My head is still spinning from Monday...

I'm not screaming SB in 25, but if JJM can develop some? We could be a very, very competitive NFC team.

The Vikings are absolutely loaded. But I get it.  We're starting a QB who has never taken a snap in the NFL and every team in the North seems to be on an upward trajectory. I don't think I've ever seen it like this before.
