We certainly could, but that's investing a LOT into the OL. I think Brandel will play better with Darrisaw and Kelly next to him. 

One position no one is talking about is safety. We lost Bynum and haven't really replaced him. Even if Harry comes back, he's 36.

We are two seasons away at min for a one year splurge.  Its not just about filling the starting holes, its about adding quality depth at key positions,  and we are a long way from that.   Some of these FA signings we see as key contributors...are role players on a real contender IMO.

Seems like a good, ascending player and the Vikings clearly like him, enough to let Bynum walk. But I don't think this is now a position packed and ready to go for the season. Metellus rarely even plays safety and Harrison Smith is ready for soup and bingo. Rumor has it that Jay Ward is still there somewhere. And that's it. That's all there is. I think safety is definitely a candidate for the 1st round pick.

On second thought, Johan Monheim in Day 3 would be worth a long look. He’d be long term solution at C. Can play every position on the OL. Had a great Senior Bowl week. He’s around the size we appear to like.

I think the team is going to let Jurgens fight for it. He can also be the backup center. He's a big, strong dude.
