Its not taking away my happy of today, but its an issue imo until it isnt. 

And KAM still doesnt have an extension while his HC has already gotten a few new paychecks from his. 

Maybe Turner/JJM cast a great light on 24 and perception starts to change? Time will tell

I think people are making too much out of KAM not getting an extension yet. I think the last thing you'd want to be doing as a GM is hammering out the finer details of your own contract while you're tied up in negotiations with free agents, restructures and various roster construction issues. I think it either happens in that dead period between free agency and the draft or immediately after the draft. But I don't think there's even a remote possibility of KAM not getting extended.

I don’t think we really know KAM’s style is. I think he’s had pretty different strategies every year, because we had different needs each year. Year one, run it back, Trade Down for maximum value. Year 2 Start the rebuild. Traditional Draft. Year 3 Finish breaking the team down, softly start the rebuilding part of the rebuild, Massive Trade ups for high value picks. Year 4 Aggressive rebuild in FA. Probably trade down to recoup number of picks.

I do like his strategy, probably because it closely mirrors my own. I think they clearly have a plan and are executing the plan, as opposed to a lot of teams that feel reactionary to me. I think last year they were lukewarm invested in the season until they found out Darnold and JJM were looking real good and they committed to a more serious season. I think we’ll see them maximize potential during a window and have a smart planned rebuild in like 2031 if things go well and KOC and him are still leading this team.

That said, we do need more on the field production from his draft classes, but if Blackmon and JJM look good this year, I think that squashes a lot of complaints about his drafting ability. I'll be curious how Turner does, as he'll probably take Jones position as the 3rd Edge, but I doubt that's enough to encourage the doubters.
