The #49ers are releasing veteran DE Leonard Floyd after one season with the team, per
@AdamSchefter
. Floyd started all 17 games for SF and had 8.5 sacks.

49ers are shutting down their window and making room for that big Purdy bag.

Guessing we've used about two-thirds of our cap space. But there's about $3M in Ingram, another 3 or 4 in Bradbury, and potential savings of around $20M in the contracts of Greenard, Hockenson and O'Neill if they so choose. But I doubt they will. Would still love to add another corner.
