Dude isn't exactly young at 30. I hope that he is seen as a rotational player and not some dominate DT that clears up all our defensive needs.

By the way its 11 central. Start your engines!!

Are they doing this as a courtesy? He's old, injured and not performing.

He had a bad year after playing through a pec injury, and he's pretty useless against the run. But he just turned 30, he's a former 1st round pick and 2X Pro Bowl player who, prior to the injury, had 4 straight seasons with elite level pass rushing grades. I'd say that's worth pursuing when you consider our only 5Ts under contract are Jalen Redmond and Levi Drake Rodriguez. I'm sure he wants something close to what he's been making and the Vikings are hoping for a bargain.

Also signing him would have no effect on the compensation pick formula…

If we as fans get too excited about Jonathan Allen if he signs in Minnesota, its been a bad start to free agency.

I think the handwriting was on the wall regarding Williams. They pivoted to a former All Pro. Hold onto your butts because Kinlaw got big dollars based on zero production.

I doubt he signs with anyone any time soon. The pec, the visits...I could be wrong, but I think he's one of those players that signs well after day one. I think he's being underrated by this board though, which is surprising for a just-30 player who offers much more pass rush from the 5T position than we've had since converting to a 3-4.
