Even in last night's babble-fest, with all the time in the world to prepare, his numbers were mostly bulls**t (excepting, in the name of actual accuracy, the Southern border immigration numbers), and he/Elon have managed to clear an interesting number of people/departments both investigating them AND vulnerable to creating a jobs program for Musk's people.
The most worrisome part, I don't have to overstate a syllable of that.
Plust the "governor Trudeau" schtick on top of the other classless antics...wow, we keep finding new lows.
I figure the impeachment filings will be starting by summer, adding more drama.
Can you post this in English please? I think you're complaining about the very well received address and saying Trump made up numbers? Which numbers do you know to be incorrect??

Re Tarrifs? I am waiting to see (to hear)the benefits they will bring to the country and specifically my household. Right now, I anticipate higher prices from them and they've spooked investors to the point where all S&P 500 gains since the election have gone poof.
Like the DOGE initiatives, the communication of tariff benefits and process to the country has been poor. And I am all for rooting out in-efficiencies, sad so many fed employees are going to be unemployed though.
the reports on the shit DOGE is uncovering suggests that a lot more federal employees need to be unemployed. The snowflake responses on tiktok and whatever else from them having to show what they accomplished... holy crap, I dont want to just fire them, I want them to apologize for their existence.

"How much money has the US given Ukraine since Russia’s invasion?
Since February 2022, the United States has allocated $113.4 billion in emergency funding to support Ukraine in wartime.
Updated March 7, 2024 by the USAFacts team"
But, our liar in chief stated:
"The United States has put up far more aid for Ukraine than any other nation, hundreds of billions of dollars," Trump said. "We've spent more than $300 billion, and Europe has spent about $100 billion. That's a big difference."
Later on, in response to a question on whether the U.S. would help with reconstruction in Ukraine after the war, Trump said: "We're in there for about $350 billion. I think that's a pretty big contribution."
Why does anyone believe a syllable from this skidmark? Seriously?

On the topic of "why does anyone believe this obvious, disastrous bulls**t?":
"he only support for the assertions comes from data posted by DOGE to a newly created website that went live last month. But in the last two weeks alone, DOGE has deleted hundreds of claimed savings, including some of the largest items it had previously boasted about."

“All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests,” the US president wrote on Truth Social.
“Agitators will be imprisoned/or permanently sent back to the country from which they came. American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

This is interesting as I am thinking through how I really feel about it now and how would I feel about it if this were about prosecuting Islamaphobia instead of anti-semitism???
And in full transparency, our household is 1/2 Jewish and 1/2 Christian...We've got a beautiful xmas tree in December, we sing How Great Thou Art at funerals and we make Passover popovers in the spring.
American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on on the crime, arrested.
So these kids dont have a right to voice their opinions peacefully??? The Feds are now telling us whats right to protest and what isnt???
Why am I getting these vibes?

That quote states "depending on the crime"...
We've been playing the game of "mostly peaceful protests" way too long. Lots of people died and lots of financial losses in the peaceful BLM protests.
The only people that were thrown off campuses during the Biden years seemed to be limited to speakers invited by the Young Republicans....
Peaceful protests are a part of our free and open society. People should be able to freely speak...on all sides of the issues...peacefully...for real this time.

100% at the bold, and 4 dead in Ohio and BLM have nothing to do with today. If students peacefully protest what they perceive as Anti-semitic, they should be free to do so and not be prosecuted for it.

My point has been about "disruptive", meaning the lockouts, the "take overs", the bullying/harassment, the inevitable escalation to threats and/or weaponized holocaust references, and the perpetrators hiding behind their keffiyehs.
Knowing the history from a lot of reading over the years, I'm long out of sympathy for most "Palestinian" viewpoints; they elect/appoint/enable people and/or organizations that constantly threaten/attack Jews and Israel, and seem shameless in calling the the death and destruction of both along with the West. That's not "two state", that's simply hostiles being moved into striking range.
On this rare matter, I agree with emperor Chee-To: if they're going to use their energies to attack Israel, move them to the countries so determined to sympathize with hamas. Give Ireland and (sadly) Norway my regards...but please, send most to Iran.
