Jets say goodbye to Rodgers

His time in the NFL is coming to a close. He had a few decent outings last year, but as a fantasy owner of Garrett Wilson, I watched him a lot and found myself screaming at the QB more often not.
If he wants to keep playing, there are probably a couple teams who would have him (at a big discount), but if anyone takes Rodgers over Cousins or Darnold or even Daniel Jones, they deserve what they get.

I really just wonder if there is any possible scenario he ends up in Minnesota and the ghost of Brett Favre comes full circle. I mean, its almost like fate..right?
I think for a 40 year old guy coming off an achillies tear with an offensive system that couldn't even figure out how to use Breeve Hall correctly, I think he played pretty well and I would expect him to play even better with a full year post surgery under his belt.

I agree, he's not even at the top of the FA QB get list anymore...Huge distraction for any team. And the teams that would consider him most likely dont have the most cohesive locker room either.

Not sure who'd take a shot at him now, the guy is 41 years old. And he looks it, shrunk up. I don't think the guy has lifted a weight in years. This isn't even bringing up his monster ego and diva-ness. I guess his best and only option would be a one year bridge QB for a drafted rookie.

He'll retire. He'll have to find a new way to stroke his ego.

I think there will be plenty of teams in need of a QB, more than will be able to adequately pretend like they got a QB. I think a lot of it is going to breakdown to who can actually benefit from Rodgers. Like if you have a garbage roster that will take a couple years to rebuild, Rodgers doesn’t make much sense. I think he’d be an adequate starter if he went someplace that had a solid offensive staff in place, rather than just letting the inmates run the asylum, but where is that? I kind of think his options are going to be limited to shitty teams where he’s taking hits on his body but without really hope of a solid campaign.
At this point he’s probably best off retiring and starting a podcast or a retreat for entrepreneurs/tech execs.
