Are we set at Kicker?
#1
Or at least comfortable enough going into next season?

I was a huge fan of the Reichard pick, dont want another Carlson situation.

But I wouldn't be honest with myself, if I didnt acknowledge some doubt creeping into my mind as the season progressed..

Maybe its just kicker ptsd

I say no we arent. He showed issues down the stretch that makes me wonder if he really is what we thought he was. I would have no problem bringing in real competition for him as well as another punter.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

PF the doubt creeping in (kicking in) is PTKD post traumatic kicker disorder. AKA TAA "The Anderson Affect" from January 99

I think we brought him back too early from his injury, he may have been getting nervous with Romo doing so well and rushed it. He was awful when he came back and didn't appear to have the confidence or swagger he previously had, I think he reverts back, but I would definitely bring in competition.

Yeah, I think Will has a bright future. I think we need a better punter though. Wright can't place a kick inside the 10 to save his life.

Reichart was money to start the season.

He was injured and his play slipped, it happens.

It was his rookie season, the struggles of this year will benefit him long-term.

It's fixable...

He got hurt and missed some long FG attempts later in the year. The bigger thing to me is that he was able to bounce back from misses and get back on track. He seems to have a good demeanor for a kicker and O'Connell doesn't have the same issues of ruining kickers mentally like Zimmer did.

The question is if he can stay healthy. If he can stay healthy I think we’re fine.
