Ratings Juggernaut Continues

I don’t watch Chiefs games. I don’t frequently watch Eagles games, but I’m still fatigued with Eagles/Chiefs oversaturation in my media/social media streams. Whether it’s the 4 billion state farm commercials, the Jason and Travis Kelce podcast that we watched once but won’t get out of the algorithm, the spinoff podcast with Jason’s hot but relatable wife, the kelce documentary, all the discussion about Mahomes fake sliding, fake going out of bounds, etc., the constant discussion about refs favoring the chiefs or not favoring the chiefs. I don’t want to see Jason’s face any more. I don’t want to see Travis’s face any more. I don’t want to hear either of their voices.

Yeah, I don't plan on watching the Super Bowl - I have ZERO interest in KC, Philly, Taylor, any Mahomes (infants included) any Kelce, Refs, State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Whatever "Flavor of the month" pop star performs at halftime, etc.

I'd rather do something else for those five hours. Like pull weeds.

I'm sure my family will have it on, but personally IDGAF

I do suffer NFL burn-out by Feb.

But 2 of the 3 (or 4) best teams in the league are playing, one has a chance for an historical 3 peat, its my last fix till August and so that's enough interest for me.

Im seeing a few,  what I assume are leaked superbowl commercials,  there might be hope yet for the marketing and advertising field.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I rarely watch the Super Bowl. But I won a nice chunk of money betting the Vikings win total this year. Maybe I'll put it all in Super Bowl prop bets to make it worth watching.

On a side note: can someone please get rid of the fucking Roman numerals? For the love of God, nobody knows what LIX is. Nobody knows what XLVIII is, what number that translates to, or what year it occurred. Fis it!

Love the SB, hate the matchup. We've gotten some classic games in recent years and this will probably be another fun one.

I agree it should be. The problem is with the Chiefs, you need to beat them by 2 scores if you expect to win. You can't go into the final 5-8 minutes down or up only one score. The Chiefs will win most, if not 9/10 of those games. They are just too good, and Mahomes just has that in him. Mahomes will walk down the field at will when the game is on the line or to go up in the final minutes, and most teams can't do anything about it. Mahomes sees the field like I have never seen a QB do. He has the field awareness of Brady but can also run at will if he needs to. That virtually makes it impossible for a team to stop during the 4 minute or hurry up 2 minute offense when it comes to winning the game.

Every game has a call or two that doesn't go their way. It is just highlighted due to them consistently winning.

All of the reasons you mentioned, plus they have a coaching advantage in every game they play. Sometimes a huge one. They're a machine.

Only reason I have to watch a Chiefs game is HOPING someone knocks Mahomes head off.

If you're going to draw a 15 yard PF for breathing on him, you might as well take a couple more steps and really pop his @$$.....
Early......Then again..... No one has got in his head yet, so if he's going to flop anyway, just clean his clock.
