I'm holding off total judgement until I see Turner put on some muscle weight for '25, because he needs it. KAM has to bear some responsibility for his draft picks or lack OF draft picks.

Jordan Davis and Kyle Hamilton are going to haunt KAM as long as he is with this team IMO.  Passing on those 2 and having nothing to show for it is a hard line to erase from your resume.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Kyle Hamilton for sure, but I don't think anyone's losing sleep over Jordan Davis.

Not sure why you think Jordan Davis....pedestrian to lesser-than player.

Davis doesnt put up the big numbers,  but he demands double teams on about every snap, which is more than we can say for any of our down D-linemen.  Him drawing a DT allows LBs and others open lanes to the QB and ball carriers.  Think of the Fat Pat or Jerry Ball, and early on Linval Joseph roll and what that allowed our defenses to do in their primes.  I think that big ugly in the middle is a huge part of what our D needs.

I'm not sure Flores is on board with that. Vikings ranked 2nd in the NFL against the run. What he really needs IMO is interior pass rush, so a guy who can plug the middle and rush the passer (like Dexter Lawrence) would be ideal. Davis had 1 sack all season.

Yah, imagine Gink and Greenard if they had legit interior pressure?

I think its fair to say this team never adequately replaced Shariff Floyd? How long ago was that now?

I dont recall Floyd ever really having enough of an impact that suggested he needed to be replaced.  The potential was there, but I dont recall it ever being close to realized.

Because he was injured. Floyd was on his way to being a huge force in the middle, big time. Aaron Donald lite.

Yeah he was well on his way. Why we passed on Donald for Barr. Floyd before his injury looked phenomenal. He was a force. No one saw that injury derailing his career.
