The market is what the market is, but damned if Love isn't inconsistent. He can be good if everything's right around him, but the minute something is wrong, he's prone to making mistakes--big, ugly, stupid mistakes. I kinda like that about him...and the fact that we get to play him twice a year...and the fact that his cap hit in 2025 will be $29M. $36M in 2026 before it spikes to an ungodly number and they'll have to make a decision about him.

So I guess the question of "does Love need a good surround or does he lift those around him" might be a bit in-appropriate today?,

Jordan Love's stats on true dropbacks this season, including the playoffs.

These are non-play action, non-RPO, non-screen pass attempts. Just drop back and rip it.

57.7% completions
15 TD
15 INT
7.5 YPA
77.6 rating

The Packers were delusional in thinking they had another HOF quarterback that was going to take them to the promised land. They didn't have to reset the market by making him the highest paid at his position in the league but they did. Now they have to figure out what to do in the next couple of years when his cap hit takes away their ability to compete for free agents. I have no sympathy for the Pack. It's always a great day to see them eliminated from the playoffs.

Time for KOC, Darnold, and the team to prove they can win BIG games....
