Did Hyundai ever get their security system fixed? There are online step by step instructions to steal them. My daughter had one but had to sell because of rampant theft.

When I heard about the issue I bought a steering lock (which they are supposed to reimburse me for but never did) and then as soon as they announced the tech fix I took it to a dealer and had it done. So the technique for stealing them no longer works if you get the update. They also put stickers at the bottom of your front side windows showing that you've had the fix, hopefully to prevent idiots from breaking in to do a steal that doesn't work any more. |
