If the Vikings beat the Lions tonight, we'll get a 1st round bye and will play at home round 2 against the lowest seeded winner of round 1.
If the Lions win tonight, the Vikings will be the number 5 seed and will play the number 4 seed on the road in round 1. The number 4 seed will either be the Bucs or the Rams.
If the Rams win today against the Seahawks, they will remain the number 3 seed. The Rams are resting Mathew Stafford today.
If the Bucs win today against the Saints and the Rams lose, the Bucs will move up to the number 3 seed and the Rams will move down to the number 4 seed.

All true, but there is a chance where the Falcons can get the number 4 seed.

Man, really don't want to go to LA and play the Rams. If that's what is in the cards for the '24 Vikings, so be it, but there's such an enormous, massive consequence to this game tonight.
It's going to be hard for the loser of tonight's game to regroup and refocus for a short-week, road game next week after what amounts to a regular season Super Bowl tonight. So...y'know....don't lose, Vikings! 1-0.

The loser will go on the road and face the Rams I feel. That is one team I want no part of. I feel like McVay is feeding off KOCs season and wants nothing more than to top it and claim he still is the top coach from his staff lol

You're right.
If the Bucs lose to the Saints and the Falcons beat the Panthers then the Falcons would be the 4 seed. Falcons won both games against the Bucs this year, so they own the tiebreaker. If that's the case, the Rams will stay at the number 3 seed even if they lose to the Seahawks. At quick glance, that would knock the Bucs completely out of the playoffs with a 9-8 second place record.
If the Falcons lose to the Panthers, the Falcons are eliminated from the playoffs regardless of the Bucs outcome.
If the Vikings lose to the Lions, going on the road to the Falcons looks more favorable than going to the Bucs or Rams.

I don't see any way that the Bucs lose. Just my opinion

Falcons would be the team to hope for. You'd have to feel pretty good about Brian Flores vs. a rookie QB.

Yah, I am actually more concerned about that than losing the game...
