RIP President Carter

He was obviously one of the better presidents in his post-presidency, and obviously one of worst presidents while in office outside of our current one. I think he was a great and decent person, with a few flawed views (I'm getting at his support for Hamas). I think that his support for Hamas was based more on his simplicity as a human being and want to believe in the better parts of people. Ultimately made him a terrific person, but a bad president.

He was a better man than he was a president, but he was a very good man. His convictions and his faith should be inspiring to those aspiring for a life of strong character.
Let's beat the Lions and get that week of rest, Vikings! SKOL!!

I voted for Reagan back in the day...We needed to move on from the Carter Admin.
But as you guys said, an historically great humanitarian and was one for decades. Rosalynn too. RIP I have read throughout the years about this side of Carter as well. The last person I’d trust on someone’s character is Joe Biden.
I’m really mixed on how I feel about Carter. He was horrible at his job, shitty to some people, but incredibly kind to others. Mixed legacy for sure. Well, based on my latest look into some of Carter's past, I don't think we'll miss him too much. I wanted to remember him building homes, not being treasonous. The second link is very telling. https://www.newsmatwitter.com/newsmax-tv...d/1193408/ |
