Winning the of the rest of the regular season games and getting the #1 overall seed and bye would certainly help.

Seattle is playing for their division
Green Bay is playing for at least a Wildcard
Detroit is playing for the Division

Regular season games aren't sudden death like the playoffs, I get it.

But every game has significant playoff ramifications.

So in that way, the vikings playoff march literally starts this week in Seattle.

Thats about where i see it.  Our only realistic shot is with home field,  maybe that home crowd can neutralize a bit of the opposing teams offensive advantages,  I think our o has the weapons,   the question is and always will be do we have the IOL.

If we have to go on the road,  i see a team that will fight hard,  but not likely be able to overcome the playoff crowds and pressure.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Not only the home field advantage but the bye which gives you one bonus win, (technically) easier opponents, time to prepare for the rest of the playoffs and a few days off for recuperation.  That #1 seed is huge
