I suppose the many of us (certainly including myself) that have called for his benching/replacement forever will find out if he was the problem he seemed to be.

Granted, continuity is a big deal with line players, but he was a consistent liability to the QBs/RBs behind him.

Looks like Guard has jumped to the top of the next draft along with corner unless they find someone in free agency.

All 3 IOL positions could use an upgrade.  Todays effort is as bad as i recall from a Vikings OL in a long time.

Watching the unblocked defenders splattering Darnold today was like a PTSD session of the past several years, even without Cousins or Ingram involved.

Drafting OG/C and CB early, barring an absolute miracle in free agency.

I know the game has changed, but I really miss having big maulers in the inside.  Trying to think back, but it feels like Matt Birk was the last good center we have really had, with a bunch of serviceable guys along the way.

I know we are talking about future ex-Vikes, but current exVike Fast Kene, put on the jets for another one.

Still, it's a guard. You can have the worst guard in the NFL and still win the Super Bowl, as many teams have proven. Sure, upgrade the guard if you can, but it's nowhere near the top of the list of priorities.

I would like to get a proven OG and DB in FA...Free us up to take IDL or RB with limited picks in 25.

Rookie QB, we better upgrade all across that middle of the OL or theres gonna be a painful learning curve.
