Had we won in regulation as we should have, it would have been another game that felt like an ugly win, however the way both sides stepped up in OT it showed something promising in this team. With everything going against them, all the momentum on the other side and on the road with the crowd in a frenzy, they pulled together and played a flawless OT on both sides. What the offense did on that last drive was big time, especially considering they had to overcome two penalties. Darnold threw some absolute big time darts and our playmakers were able to find holes to get open. For me, it took from a ho hum win to something we can build on. Really liked what I saw in the way they responded and Darnold was ice in the clutch, which is what you need to win playoff games.

Darnold went 6-6 for 90 yards in overtime....gotta give him credit for coming up big when it counted.

I agree JR44. Although it sucked the game went into OT, valuable experience was gained. It's also good that this happened during a regular season game and not the playoffs. The onside kick situation, stopping the other team's offense, and then driving down the field for the W.

The last time we were up by 11 with under 30 seconds left and lost was done by the guy in that picture congratulating Darnold.

I felt pretty confident throughout that whole game. I think we’re a resilient team. I think we’re a good team. I feel like past teams needed to find a way to make every game hyper dramatic. This years team just keeps stacking solid play on top of more solid play. There may be a handful of things that go awry, but for the most part, we’re consistently executing and it shows up as wins.

Having now experienced plenty of "ugly wins", I'm hoping that we get some dominant victories during our 3-game home stand. Seattle held the Cardinals to 6 points, and we've gotta in Seattle next month. Hopefully, we learned enough about both teams from that game.
Time for KOC, Darnold, and the team to prove they can win BIG games....
