Rodgers a Vike in '25?

According to
@DWolfsonKSTP
, he thinks there’s a better chance that #Giants QB Daniel Jones goes to the #Vikings this offseason rather than #Jets QB Aaron Rodgers, he mentioned on @SKORNorth

Agree. I think Jones would be a helluva backup option. He's only 27 and there's an outside chance he could be another reclamation project under KOC. Big kid, good arm, and runs well too. Rodgers makes zero sense on so many levels. And yes, they're talking about a backup. If the Vikings were worried about JJM's knee and wanted a starter to hedge their best, they would just work out something with Darnold.

I dont see Jones wanting to come to MN to try and re-establish his career. It was an option for SD because the plan never was to start JJM, so Sam could come in and about be assured of at least roughly half the year or more depending on his play. If JJM is healthy it sounds like its his job, so for Jones there is no clear path back to becoming a starter through MN.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I agree with this, unless...he wants to take the Darnold route and sit learning behind one of the better offensive coaches in the league as a backup and the Vikings are certainly talented enough where if he got pushed into action, the pieces are there for him to succeed. If Jones is going the one year backup QB route, I'd have to think the Vikings would certainly be high on the list of potential destinations.

If, and this is a huge "If", Darnold gets us to the Superbowl this season he won't be leaving us. He will be a hero in a very good line of QBs that couldn't get us there.

He will be leaving us. Tag and trade in this scenario. Staff loves JJ and so does KOC.

I don't see the team tagging Darnold under any circumstance. They won't want to limit his ability to pick a new team that he feels will be the best fit for him. In fact, I expect that when it comes time for Darnold & his agent to choose their new destination, they'll lean heavily on KOC for his opinion.
