Unfortunately, I still have a business to run.
If you love your business, Tom, its not so much like work. My job career for me was always a means to an end, I worked to live not vice versa. If you don't love your business, then yeah, I'm sure its a grind.

So much counter productive garbage, office politics, unrealistic goal setting and just bad management. I have zero tolerance for it, completely jaded. My friends ask me what I'm going to do: I say I'm good at working.....but I'm also good at not working. I won't miss it.
I hear that.
My tolerance for the office environment really dipped in my 50's and by 58 I was done. I miss some of the people, but not the work and everything that surrounds it. The people I want to stay in touch with I have.
Give yourself some time to find and ease into new routines...You've been working for decades and then not? That's quite a change.

I've worked remotely for the last 23 years, so I didn't have to deal with an office environment or I would have retired 5 years ago! The whole business travel experience got so old with me....air travel continues to suck with less flights available, smaller spaces on the planes and COVID destroyed most flight attendants tolerance for travelers considering how they were treated by people....and continue to be. Hotels have less amenities and horrible staff now. Corporations treat their employees like expendable sheep. I could go on and on.
p.s. And a draft of IPA at the airport bars are $13-$14 a pint! ![Wink Wink](https://vikefans.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.png)

If Florida passes Amendment 3 today, might give Cheech and Chong a run for their money.
We don't need Amendment 3, I can drop off some Wyld Gummies; first 10mg Pomegranate Gummy free. ![Smile Smile](https://vikefans.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.png)

Done and done! I actually buy these high mg Delta 8 gummies from a local shop and they do the job, which is surprising to me as I was skeptical about a year ago and hadn't tried them because I thought it was bullshit. Me so wrong! ![Wink Wink](https://vikefans.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.png) It would be easy to get a medicinal marijuana card so that's what I'll do here in the next month or so.

Welcome to the club! Every day is Saturday, every night is Friday...
People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
