OT: I'm officially retired come this Friday
#1
Totally stoked. 58 years old and getting out of the corporate rat race. Think it will impact my post count here? Wink
If Florida passes Amendment 3 today, might give Cheech and Chong a run for their money.

shit.... I assumed you were already retired, but I guess the same could be said of me and I've got 14 years to go. Congratulations.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Congratulations. Not having the stress of dealing with the corporate crap is a huge relief.
There is a little bit of an adjustment period but you will soon ease into your new retirement routine.
Enjoy my friend.

That is really awesome!  Really happy for you!  Huge accomplishment to have yourself in position to do it at this age, nice!

Congrats my man! What's the first thing you're going to do as a retiree on Saturday? Hitting up some Sunday Bingo and trying to get the Senior discount at brunch?

Congratulations and welcome to the club!!! I voted for Amendment 3 even though I'm a Constitutional Conservative. It just makes too much sense financially for State Revenue, and everywhere you go these days people are lighting up anyway.

Congrats Sticky!

I retired from Corporate right about your age too.

It took me a little while to find my "new footing." I found working a few hours for my buddy's retail shop has been good for right now and I may just take December off to chill and holiday.

Main thing is stay active and stay healthy.
