Kirko on fire, Dallas swirling down the toilet...

Kirk Cousins threw three touchdown passes and the Atlanta Falcons maintained their hold on first place in the NFC South with a 27-21 victory Sunday over the struggling Dallas Cowboys, who took their third straight setback and lost quarterback Dak Prescott to a hamstring injury.

Coach Mike McCarthy figures to be under even more heat after this performance, which included a fake punt that didn't have a chance, a fourth down sweep by receiver CeeDee Lamb that was thrown for a 3-yard loss, and botched coverage in which three defensive backs got tangled up with each other and left Mooney all alone for his touchdown catch.

For good measure, the Dallas offensive line surrendered three sacks to a team that came into the game with an NFL-worst six sacks through the first eight weeks.

I know timing is everything, but that upcoming Viking/Falcons came should be a "doozy"

Glad to see Kirko get some payback against Zimmer, and to keep flying with Atlanta. They need to lose against us, but otherwise...happy to see him lighting it up with his new team.

ON the flip side...$60 million per season...WOW....

I dont even know if McCarthy will make it through the season - then do they put Zimsu in charge?

BB is rumored to be a candidate already as is Ben Johnson. The corpse aint even cold yet, so a bit pre-mature. But there's the press for yah Smile

That game was probably the most overpaid QBs game of all time.

Dallas is a shit show. NFL hates to see Dallas and both New York teams stinking, that's a big chunk of their audiences. Kirko is the same: you give that dude time to throw and he'll burn you bad.

Kirk has feasted on bad defenses with no pass rush. Cowboys defense is terrible with all their injuries and losing Dan Quinn.

I'm not worried when we face him as long as Flores keeps dialing up the inside blitzes against Kirk. He won't move in the pocket.

Kirk’s going to be fired up to beat us. I hope we’re as fired up to beat him.

They were shown having a chat before the game.

Of course we don't know what they might have said...

Zim: "Fuck you Kirko!"
Kirk:"My religion doesn't allow me to swear, Zim, but if it did I'd say fuck you too!"
