IIRC there was a similar situation last sunday where the clock was wrongly stopped and there was a 10 second run off since the offense didnt have a time out left,  or they gave the offense the choice of using a time out and they did ( I dont recall which) ,  either way an errant clock stoppage ended up having a consequence,  not just a free time out. 

the what the hell comment was Michaels,  he earned back a touch of respect there,  otherwise I was damn sick of his on the jock bias all night long.  speaking of al michaels,  did anybody else know before last night that our kicker was perfect on  the season... its like a witch trying to cast a spell or something the way he kept repeating that every kick we lined up for.

the def holding  early in the game on Murphy second series was a phantom call. what about the ref not being honest after the game saying he could not see the face mask. there are pictures of him five feet away looking directly at the face mask  no player was in between .straight out be dishonest.

But when Young puts his hands up to his helmet like, "Oh crap, I just gave them a fresh set of downs" MAYBE...just MAYBE it should have been called

I've said this before and I'll say it again; It is impossible for anyone, and I mean anyone, to grow up in this country and become an NFL ref without any influence for or against a certain team. People can say they have no favorite all they want, but that would not be a true statement.

99.9% that will get called even if there ISN'T a facemask pull even happening....just the chance that it did happen. Its one of the worst non-calls I have ever seen, no exaggeration.
